Telemedicine Clinic increases UK presence.
In response to rapidly increasing demand for quality teleradiology services, Telemedicine Clinic (TMC) has reinforced its UK presence with the three critical components:
- Dr Paul Dubbins as Associate Medical Director,
- Chris Piccaver as Head of UK Business Development
- The launch of the TMC UK Operations Centre.
TMC is pleased to demonstrate a growing and continuing commitment to support UK radiology and the NHS by delivering a secure, flexible and high quality radiology reporting service, individually tailored to the clients exact requirements.
“We are confident that this new structure will further strengthen our position as the national quality leader in terms of Clinical Governance, Customer Orientation and Data Protection” says CEO Alexander Böhmcker.
Dr Paul Dubbins’ role will be to further develop the company’s position as the leading national quality provider of radiology reporting services. With more than 30 years experience in reporting, teaching and research, partly in his role as Vice-President and Dean at Royal College of Radiologists, he assures that the recruitment of new radiologists, revalidation and audit processes within TMC are at world class standards.
“One of the major reasons why I joined TMC is because mechanisms and protocols determining quality are already of a high standard”, explains Dr Dubbins, and also states: “One of the things that TMC has championed within teleradiology is the measurement of quality beyond turnaround time.
We are continuously looking for experienced NHS consultant radiologists”
Chris Piccaver has 20 years of experience as a radiographer in both clinical and commercial radiology roles. Combined with an extensive network and knowledge of both the NHS and the private health care sectors, he will greatly contribute to the company’s core objectives to maximise client satisfaction and ensure a customer focused service.
“Based upon my experience from working with in the UK Teleradiology market over the last few years, I greatly value the high standards of clinical quality and the company’s commitment to the client’s needs, fundamental to TMC’s unique approach to teleradiology in the UK. With experienced clinical radiology input at all levels of the company, it is reassuring to know that the commercial drive is balanced by clinical experience and that we are genuinely providing an additional reporting capacity for the NHS.” says Chris Piccaver
Located in the newly opened TMC Operations Centre in Theale/Reading, a dedicated team of highly trained TMC employees will securely and swiftly control the transfer of data between client hospitals and the TMC reporting radiologists, implementing industry leading patient data security standards.
