Reporting Services

teleradiologyRemote reporting or teleradiology forms part of the integrated radiology service that we offer to our client hospitals. Our focus is reporting accuracy, quality and timeliness.

On the reporting side, we provide sub-specialist reporting services for all imaging areas including PET-CT. We often step in when additional capacity is needed at our client hospitals, providing short and long-term back-up reporting services for highly complex as well as routine “bulk” examinations.

We can guarantee the delivery of stable, accurate and continuous reporting services because we have the mature structure to do so.

SUB-SPECIALIST REPORTING

TMC is founded on the principles of sub-specialist focus. We believe that the employment of specialist radiologists who focus on specific diagnostic areas significantly increases diagnostic quality.

Our radiologists work in sub-specialist teams in the following areas:

  • Neuro: CT, MRI and PET-CT
  • Body (Abdominal and thorax): CR, CT/HRCT, MRI, PET-CT and Ultrasound
  • Musculoskeletal: CR, CT and MRI
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Sub-specialist competency at TMC also enables us to provide unique added value to our client hospitals. We offer second opinion services for complex cases and over-reading services for training of juniors.

    CLIENT IMPLEMENTATION

The implementations stage of a new client is vital, for it is at this stage that we begin to build a foundation for tight collaboration and a trustworthy relationship with our client hospital. To make the implementations process as smooth and efficient as possible, we have a team of specialists dedicated to working closely with your Management, IT, Medical, and Administrative staff.

TMC has developed sophisticated workflow, robust IT systems and a specialist case management team in-house, which have enabled us to successfully deliver quality reporting services. Our mature structure and our experience with scores of client implementations give us the required know-how to work efficiently with the different aspects of integration – workflow, IT and medical.

Workflow Integration: A designated team will conduct a meeting at your hospital to go through workflow and volume-planning routines.

IT Integration: Our IT specialist will liaise with your IT department to establish a safe and efficient network connection for the exchange of patient data, referrals and reports; and to establish the transfer of radiology (DICOM) images.

Medical Integration: A designated team of medical and operational specialists will review your local scanning protocols and some example reports so that we may adapt all reports to your local format needs.

    TURNAROUND TIME

TMC guarantees turnaround times specified for each client and type of examinations. Reporting times range from less than an hour to 48 hours depending on cases and client requirements (some client hospitals request a turnaround of 72 hours). Today, over 90% of our reports are returned within 24 hours, with an average turnaround of less than 15 minutes for emergency cases.

    COMMUNICATIONS

We strive to build a long-term professional and trustworthy relationship with each client hospital and referring clinician. We know that good communications between our reporting radiologists and our referring clinicians is an essential part of the reporting process.

TMC has protocols in place that facilitate the real-time, direct communications between medical specialists. Our daily routine involves discussions with referring clinicians on the clinical background of a patient or any unexpected diagnosis that may arise.
