Team Medical Services Scandinavia
We have organized our medical, client care, and IT integration professionals into country-specific teams to ensure that we cater to the local needs of our clients. We have dealt with variable protocols, processes and standards, which are often country-specific.
To meet with the strictest hospital, state and countrywide standards, we employ accredited medical staff and professionals who are able to work with the country-specific report format, specialist vocabulary and language. Team leaders for the Medical Services Scandinavia team are listed below:
Dr. Hans Billing. Medical Director
|
I’ve been involved in teleradiology both as a user and as a provider during my thirty-fours years in radiology. I’ve always believed in the potential of teleradiology and how we can effectively exploit it. It is really rewarding to see our initial TMC vision come true, that we’ve managed to develop an efficient way of working in radiology for the future. My ambition for TMC is to be able to integrate teleradiology into the daily work of radiology departments, to help increase productivity and to create better professional working conditions for radiologists. Dr. Hans Billing is responsible for quality assurance at TMC. One of today’s leading MRI specialists in Europe, he has been invited to speak at national and international congresses. Dr. Billing often organizes lectures and training sessions for radiologists and radiographers. |
Dr. Szabolcs Hetényi. Head of Musculoskeletal Section
|
“My two and a half years experience as a musculoskeletal radiologist at TMC has been great as I productively reported on and learned from reading large volumes of cases daily. Now, as Head of the Musculoskeletal Section, I would like to help strengthen knowledge sharing and communications among our radiologists as well as fortify communications with our client clinicians. Receiving clinician feedback, both positive and negative, is important within our field to ensure that we meet high quality standards. I look forward to taking on a proactive role in maintaining good contact with our client clinicians and in managing feedback that will help us improve in all aspects of reporting, to maintain the accuracy and quality we promise to our clients.” Dr. Szabolcs Hetényi is registered with the GMC in the UK, and is PMQ and SMQ registered in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Spain. Prior to joining TMC, Dr. Hetényi was a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg (Sweden). |
Dr Charlotta Erenmalm. Head of Body section
|
“At TMC I work together with a dedicated team of sub specialists, reporting on large amounts of cases from three countries, from larger as well as smaller hospitals. Our double reading workflow, made efficient by our reporting platform, is important both for the quality and for the learning within our group of sub specialists. As head of the body section, I would like to stress the importance of discussion and knowledge sharing within the group, manifested by the weekly clinical sessions, but also – importantly – in the daily work.
As we strive to supply high quality sub specialist service, the feedback from, and communication with, our customers is vital. Communication with the local radiologist and with the referring clinicians is very important, and one of the factors that make working with TMC so interesting.” Dr Charlotta Erenmalm completed her medical degree and specialist training at Lund University Hospital, Sweden. Before joining TMC in 2007, she worked as consultant radiologist in Zurich, Switzerland. She is registered with GMC in the UK and is PMQ and SMQ registered in Sweden and Denmark. |
Dr. Christian Smith-Sivertsen. Consultant Radiologist
|
“While working as a consultant radiologist in Scandinavian countries over the last 20 years, I always searched for the opportunity to work with new IT systems. I chose to work particularly with RIS and PACS systems and within the field of teleradiology. I am pleased to see that teleradiology has evolved and has become more widely accepted in recent years. As consultant radiologist and medical advisor for TMC and for our client hospitals in Denmark, I hope to help TMC form strong alliances with local radiology departments so that we may use teleradiology in the most effective way. My main interest lies in the quality platform that TMC has developed and I hope to see this evolve in the years to come so that we may maintain our position as the leading teleradiology group in Denmark.” Dr. Christian Smith-Sivertsen is currently also a consultant radiologist at Esberg Hospital. He obtained his specialist degree in radiology from Odense University in Denmark. |
Ida Anderman. Service Delivery Manager
|
“I’ve been at TMC since its beginning, to witness the transformation from a simple operational platform to a solid one that takes into account the multiple factors and complexities existent in reporting service delivery. We’ve learned and we’ve grown through our experience and feedback from our clients. Now that’s an achievement! Having been on the field for quite awhile, I know that feedback and follow-up is important in order to improve all aspects of service delivery. Part of my role is to make sure we stay on top in quality assurance. This has become my personal goal because I simply enjoy it.” |
Nina Baric. Medical Secretary
|
“We are encouraged to think strategically as we continue to develop ever more efficient processes and protocols in Case Management. I find this exciting. Each new client and each new project brings on daily challenges, which is quite natural because each hospital has different needs. That is the beauty of our business. I am pleased to be part of a team that works closely with our hospitals to establish the most efficient processes for optimal service delivery.” |
Mette Uhd. Operations Team Lead
|
“Since I started, the Client Administration team has doubled to serve our increasing number of clients. I’ve been on the run since in a highly energetic environment! My goal is to improve productivity in my team by helping to find the most appropriate tools. As a team leader, I hope to also enhance the working relationship between our radiologists and client administration members through shared knowledge. Enriching our client administration staff with some medical knowledge makes their jobs interesting. At the end of the day, we’re all working towards united cause, better patient care.” |
