Our objective is to strengthen the diagnostic departments of our clients by providing innovative, flexible and collaborative solutions and to offer attractive working environments for physicians, both remote and onsite. I believe that our service offering, including our nighttime emergency oncall reporting for European hospitals delivered from Sydney, our high quality sub-specialized elective reporting, our bespoke remote training, mentoring and 2nd reading services or the offering of our teleradiology reporting platform to hospitals or groups of radiologists will contribute to fulfill our vision and will help us to expand into other diagnostic areas.”Alexander Böhmcker completed his Lic.oec. degree at the University St. Gallen, Switzerland and his MBA at ESADE in Spain. Prior to joining Telemedicine Clinic he had Business Development and Finance leadership roles in the Deutsche Bank, BMW and GFT.

Dr. Henrik Agrell. Vice President/Market and Business Development Director

As co-founder of TMC, he has played a significant role in developing the business in several European markets. Dr. Agrell has extensive experience in the areas of e-Health and Telemedicine and has published several scientific articles in these areas. Prior to co-founding TMC, Dr. Agrell led the start-up of NetDoktor, a leading European web portal for healthcare.

Dr. Hans Billing. Medical Director

“I’ve been involved in teleradiology both as a user and as a provider during my thirty-fours years in radiology. I’ve always believed in the potential of teleradiology and how we can effectively exploit it. It is really rewarding to see our initial TMC vision come true, that we’ve managed to develop an efficient way of working in radiology for the future. My ambition for TMC is to be able to integrate teleradiology into the daily work of radiology departments, to help increase productivity and to create better professional working conditions for radiologists.”Dr. Hans Billing is responsible for quality assurance at TMC. One of today’s leading MRI specialists in Europe, he has been invited to speak at national and international congresses. Dr. Billing often organizes lectures and training sessions for radiologists and radiographers.

Dr. Carlos Schorlemmer. Head of Neuroradiology

“When I first started to work at TMC, there were few radiologists. We have grown tremendously and very quickly, with more than 70 sub-specialist radiologists currently working for us. I am proud of the fact that we have been able to attract radiologists from training and academic centres. This is a big achievement! My ambition for TMC is to offer an attractive environment that encourages professional growth for our team. Another important aim is to find the best way to merge teleradiology with a conventional radiology setting so that together we can better satisfy our referring clinicians and ultimately improve patient care.”Dr. Carlos Schorlemmer is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine as well as Neuroradiology. He has worked in Neuroradiology in both private and academic hospitals. He is presently a member of the Spanish Society of Radiology, the Spanish and European Societies of Neuroradiology and the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine.

Dr Charlotta Erenmalm. Head of Body section

“At TMC I work together with a dedicated team of sub specialists, reporting on large amounts of cases from three countries, from larger as well as smaller hospitals. Our double reading workflow, made efficient by our reporting platform, is important both for the quality and for the learning within our group of sub specialists. As head of the body section, I would like to stress the importance of discussion and knowledge sharing within the group, manifested by the weekly clinical sessions, but also – importantly – in the daily work. As we strive to supply high quality sub specialist service, the feedback from, and communication with, our customers is vital. Communication with the local radiologist and with the referring clinicians is very important, and one of the factors that make working with TMC so interesting.”Dr Charlotta Erenmalm completed her medical degree and specialist training at Lund University Hospital, Sweden. Before joining TMC in 2007, she worked as consultant radiologist in Zurich, Switzerland. She is registered with GMC in the UK and is PMQ and SMQ registered in Sweden and Denmark.

Dr. Szabolcs Hetényi. Head of Musculoskeletal Section

“My two and a half years experience as a musculoskeletal radiologist at TMC has been great as I productively reported on and learned from reading large volumes of cases daily. Now, as Head of the Musculoskeletal Section, I would like to help strengthen knowledge sharing and communications among our radiologists as well as fortify communications with our client clinicians. Receiving clinician feedback, both positive and negative, is important within our field to ensure that we meet high quality standards. I look forward to taking on a proactive role in maintaining good contact with our client clinicians and in managing feedback that will help us improve in all aspects of reporting, to maintain the accuracy and quality we promise to our clients.”Dr. Szabolcs Hetényi is registered with the GMC in the UK, and is PMQ and SMQ registered in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Spain. Prior to joining TMC, Dr. Hetényi was a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg (Sweden).

I’ve worked mainly in the healthcare industry, integrating systems at hospitals using HL7, web services and other integration technology. My goal at TMC is to improve overall efficiency through the creation of tools that would automate processes internally and improve integration between departments.
